Howdy, y'all! Look who stopped by to promote our raffle/fund-raiser!

As many of you may know, we were recently able to fix our leaky roof. Yeehaw!! We hired Ojeda's to do the work and they were quick and efficient.  Funds to fix the roof were approved and allocated before the pandemic struck and were based on the cost of materials and labor at the time. As we are all aware, the pandemic disrupted supply chains as well as resulted in an increase in demand for building supplies, as many people found themselves at home with time on their hands to work on home-improvement projects. As a result, the cost of building materials has skyrocketed. The roof could not wait-out another wet season in the hopes that supply costs would be more reasonable next year, so the repair project went ahead, over-budget. Holding a raffle fund-raiser seemed like the way to go to help us to fill the gap between the originally approved amount to fix the roof and give our members a chance to win a super-sweet payout!
